Pukaha National Wildlife Centre is a truly special and unique place to hold a conference, function or meeting. During your breaks you can take in forest walks and the sights and sounds of native birds.
Each meeting room can seat up to 120 delegates and all the AV and sound facilities are available.
A guided tour can be included for your delegates - wander through the bush to meet eels, kaka, tuatara, takahē and the giant weta sculpture.
A daily programme which delegates are welcome to enjoy includes:
- Roving Ranger Talk
- Takahe Talk
- Eel Feeding
- Kaka Circus
- A short film in the Kiwi Theatre - these run throughout the day
At times there are kiwi chicks on view in the nursery in the Kiwi House, depending on when they're born and their progress.
Great food and coffee is available too at Kaka Cafe at Pukaha.
Pukaha National Wildlife Centre is just 20 minutes drive north of Masterton on State Highway 2.
