The Vintage Aviator

The Vintage Aviator at Hood Aerodrome in Masterton boasts the largest collection of airworthy WWI fighter aircraft in the world.

The fighter collection is part of an ever-changing display of WWI and WWII planes and military vehicles. If you've seen Peter Jackson's King Kong, you might just recognise the aircraft that buzzed the poor ape at the end of the movie!

Guided Hangar Tours

The Vintage Aviator will be open for guided tours from Saturday 22nd October 2016. Hear the thrilling stories that bring the planes and their daring pilots to life. Call 04 909 3100 to enquire.
