Clareville Bakery Bread Masterclass 
Mix, shape, ferment, bake and much more with the award-wining Clareville Bakery! Come and find out how it feels to make your own bread. Bring your own apron and the rest will be provided including a glass of wine and cheese board. You will take home all bread that you create.

Experience upcycling at its finest with a sustainable evening of wine, food and fashion at Gladstone Vineyard. Enjoy a 3-course feast from Wairarapa produce and deliciously edible food ‘waste’ created by local chef, Ant North. Meet the makers, farmers and artisan producers of some of the finest products in the Wairarapa. Start with a pop-up local producers market then Rachel Priestley of La Pancetta, NZ Free Range Butchery & Prodigal Daughter teams up with Dale Keith of The White Swan to create a 4-course feast made exclusively from local Wairarapa produce.

A Pig of a Day

Join Helene Wong, The Country Cooking School, Ata Rangi wines and Olivo olive oils for a luncheon to remember. Explore strong links between Wairarapa's superb wine, food and its Chinese community. This lavish luncheon pairs Ata Rangi's wines with Wairarapa produce and olive oils in a Chinese themed 3-course luncheon. Author, actor, director & critic Helene Wong will discuss growing up as a Kiwi in New Zealand and discovering her Chinese roots.

Clareville Bakery 
Festival dish: Braised lamb neck, quinoa, brown rice, pea, broad bean, flatbread, feta dressing, pomegranate drizzle.
Burger: Wham Bam Thank You Lamb! Eketahuna Country Meats lamb patty with Parkvale Mushroom stuffed with Kingsmeade Castlepoint feta and beetroot relish in a Clareville Bakery honey oat bun.

Festival dish: Palliser Ridge lamb backstrap, dukkah, lamb croquette, Schoc Chocolate-spiked cottage pie, cauliflower purée.
Burger: Beef patty with Mela cider, Kingsmeade Wairarapa Jack cheddar and Fix & Fogg peanut butter BBQ sauce in a Clareville Bakery bun, with sweet potato fries.

Festival dish: Seared ostrich marinated in smoked paprika served with horseradish mash, garlic carrots and a red wine beetroot and chocolate sauce. 
Burger: Smokey venison and blue cheese patty and Boerewors sausage patty with gouda, local beetroot, tomato, lettuce, mustard and Greytown Hotel spicy BBQ sauce.
