Wairarapa Golf

Masterton Golf Course, Wairarapa

The Wairarapa is home to ten golf courses, from Masterton to Martinborough and south to the coastal fishing settlement of Ngawi. Whether you're a keen amateur or a pro, you're spoilt for choice. Local legend Sir Bob Charles honed his game here too - so you're in great company!

Check out some of our favourite courses:

Masterton Golf Club is the home of Sir Bob Charles and is the premier golf club in the Wairarapa.
Mahunga Golf Course in Masterton, is a flat, easy walking 18 hole golf course on 2 levels. The upper level golf holes provide cracker views to the Tararua Ranges.
Martinborough Golf Club has an established par 72, 18 hole golf course. Many a golf ball ends up in the neighbouring Martinborough vineyards from a wayward swing. You can book your game in advance online.
Ngawi is home to the Southern most golf course in the North Island; nine holes of square greens mown into beach side grass.
Castlepoint golf course is a pretty nine hole with spectacular ocean views. It's just an hour's drive from Masterton on Te Ore Ore Road.
Riversdale Beach is an easy walking, tight and challenging golf course with 9 holes played twice from different tees to make 18 holes. The golf course has a full time green keeper to keep it in excellent playing condition.
Flat Point is a nine hole coastal links golf course. Casual players visiting Flat Point Golf Club are welcome to play. Flat Point is about 90 minutes from Masterton.
