Once a year Martinborough celebrates its wines, wine-makers and stunning fresh produce with Toast Martinborough, New Zealand’s most popular food and wine festival. Toast has a magic that’s attracted people from around New Zealand and the world for 25 years. It allows people to talk to the wine-makers, taste new releases or locate older vintages.
Toast Martinborough is on Sunday 19th November 2017.
At Toast you have the freedom to travel around eight vineyards on foot or via free Tranzit shuttle buses.
This year participating vineyards include Ata Rangi, Dry River, Luna Estate, Muirlea Rise, Margrain Vineyard, Te Kairanga & Martinborough Vineyards, Tirohana Estate and Vynfields Organic Wine. Each of these are partnered with a great restaurant and musicians to create an environment where festival goers can sip, taste, dance and be happy. Menus feature fresh, local produce and celebrate the Wairarapa’s food producers including olive-growers, cheese-makers and farmers.
At the conclusion of the day enjoy a festival party under the trees in the town square with live music.
